I'm one clever photographer. I only have the DNG file of my photo entered for the Free Study. Now a very wise person has thought that my average photo is in need of proof. My good planning in selecting memory cards when deleting pictures etc has got me in a knot of using the same card again. I have in the interem submitted my DNG file. Anybody out there with some tips on how to recover my CR2 file. I have tried Rescue pro but was only able to recover the previously deleted pics. Some help would really be appreciated. My score is sitting pretty on 6 and would hate for it to be DQ when there was something else I could have done to save face.

| I used PC Inspector when a SD card went bad on me. It worked great. |

It's freeware :)
ETA: Oh, although I a Machead, sometimes you just need to boot up the PC to deal with these things.
