I had two hummingbirds sitting and playing in my fountain outside my window.
Grab teh camera and get the most amazing and I mean the most amazing shots ever.
Glance down at the screen
NO CF CARD
Piss on a stick.
Put a card in in ultra superman speed and start clicking away.
Take two shots , then the camera turns off.
Dead batteries.
~~~
So far Monday morning is just starting off just finnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnne =\ |
Ack! My sympathies. The kids would have enjoyed roast hummingbird. Or, they may have declared it to be bland. |
Could be worse... It could be your gun and bad people trying to break in, you realize last second (litteraly) you don't have ammo in the gun.
I am not sure why don't you turn on the "No shooting without CF Card" option (which gave me BIG head-aches in the past)?
No suggestions for the battery though other than get a grip... Those hold two batteries and takes long time to drain them.
Two great reasons to always park your camera in "ready" condition. I figured that out the tough way too.
Never heard that one before, but I'll have to use it sometime. For some reason, it gets the point across (and I don't know how/why).
A little better than a term I read from a really mad doctor:
"F*** a duck!"
LOL... Spazzy McSpazzotron!
ETA... if it makes you feel any better, I was covering an event yesterday, all access Media tag & all. I didn't think I'd be taking any more than 300 shots so I only brought my one 8GB card in camera. 80% of the way through the event, I filled my card at 650 shots. 8-O Luckily there was a lull in the action which gave me time to cruise through and delete extras so I had enough space to make it to the end.
