I need to buy 2 umbrella brackets and have them here in 3-4 days. According to reviews at B&H, there are good and bad umbrella brackets. I found one that was inexpensive, but still had good reviews. Then I found out that Adorama & B&H are closed until Oct 4th. I went to amazon, but the brackets they listed looked like either the bottom of the heap badly reviewed brackets, or the too expensive brackets.
Do you have recommendations regarding a online photography store that has a good reputation and good prices? I've only ordered from adorama and b&h -- and I really don't want to go to Honest Abes!

Henry's
These people would walk through fire to make sure that any of their many customers are happy with their service and products. That's why they have been in business 100 years.
I bought a used lens on eBay from them, and it had a little tab broken off the aperture ring in the back. They said to return it, so I did, and they sent me a brand new lens, same model, new in original factory sealed box.

Wendy, I think just the Adorama NYC store is closed, not phone orders. Here's the schedule they posted for ordering.
"Adorama phone-sales department
Following is the schedule for phone-sales Mail-Order:
* 9:00 - 3:00 Wednesday, Sep 22
* 9:00 - 5:00 Sunday, Sep 26 thru Tuesday, Sep 28
* 9:00 - 3:00 Wednesday, Sep 29"

Thanks, CJinCA, Unfortunately, I just called their phone-sales line. Even though they're taking orders on these days, they are not shipping until the 4th.
I checked out Henry's and J&R, but J&R doesn't carry umbrella brackets, and Henry's looks like it only carries 1 type which is pretty expensive.
HELP!!

Call a local studio and ask to rent a couple for the day? That's what I'd do...

Midwest Photo Exchange sells this one with their strobist kits. Midwest has a great rep with the strobist crowd.
LumoPro LP633 Umbrella Swivel
And a few more to consider if you use Umbrella Swivel in the search function.
