I want a new domain because I dont really like www.JayAphoto.com anymore, plus it can be confusing to people I tell (could be JayAphoto or JAphoto, both sound the same for example)
I would love JamesAndrews.com but its taken, The latest domains are ".co" and I can get JamesAndrews.co
Do you think these .co sites are worthwhile or are likely to cause confusion (people thinking its a typo etc)
I dont want people going on jamesandrews.com and thinking that is my site because of the one extra m!
Thanks for your feedback. |

I would register jamesandrew.co and not use it. Register it and keep it if and until .co becomes somewhat more popular. Until then, stick with anything .com to avoid the confusion you're already worried about. |

Why don't you get a .biz or .net domain name -- .biz means about the same as .com |

I would think it would be fine - the other site is a bit strange, and people would instantly know they were in the wrong place. |

+1 to the .biz name, I didn't even think of that one. |

.biz is a good one but appears to be in use - .me tends to be for "personal" websites rather than a business, but tbh you can host whatever type of site you want on whatever domain you want. .me appears to be available
Alternatively, you appear to like to be called "Jay" so for jayandrews you could have
jayandrews.co Yes £18.99
jayandrews.net Yes £8.89
jayandrews.biz Yes £8.89
jayandrews.me Yes £17.89
Not sure if you are UK (profile says Liverpool so I guess so - my home town :-) )There are plenty of UK options - check out daily.co.uk - I use them - very easy and cheap.
jamesandrews.uk.com Yes £15.99
jamesandrews.org.uk Yes £2.95 2 years - £5.90
jamesandrews.me.uk Yes £2.95 2 years - £5.90
jayandrews.org.uk Yes £2.95 2 years - £5.90
jayandrews.me.uk Yes £2.95 2 years - £5.90
Finally
jamesandrewsphoto.com is available for £8.99 a year |
