| I think the "witchcraft" thing is just an interesting hook to the story. The relevant charge is fraud. He claimed he could do something fantastic, and charged money to apparently gullible people to do it when it's obvious to anyone that the "something" in question is impossible. If true, that's fraud. And he isn't the only fraudster. |

Has it been PROVEN he can't "do it" (whatever "it" is)? I thought witches were mentioned in the Bible, and so there must be some real ones somewhere ... |

Jesus does hip replacements too!
Have a look, I'm sure even the good Doctor and our other apologists will appreciate the insanity here..

Take what I said in the context of the video.
If you are a religious leader with a following and you're a drug user, sex offender, lack a college education, and you cheated on your wife, then you're probably a cult leader. Do you think that guy would ever be allowed to lead a group of orthodox Muslims, Buddhists, Christians, Jews etc.? Most orthodox religious people would not follow a self-proclaimed leader with no credentials and a history of irreligious behavior.
ETA: I'm certainly not saying that all drug users, sex offenders, etc. are cult leaders... if that's what you were thinking.
