How do I find out what adjustments I made to the RAW file? When I open it in adobe RAW editor, it shows that I only adjusted the exposure. Yet other shots that I took around the same time look a little washed out. I opened the RAW file, and tried clicking on the default option to see what changed, and the only thing that changes is the exposure, and the picture doesn't look washed out. So I'm wondering if I had played with the the saturation or the vibrance, but it shows both of those still at 0.
So I was just curious -- is there a way to find out what adjustments you did in the RAW editor?

As long as the previous adjustments were made with Ps (or Lr) then the settings you see when you open the RAW file in ACR will be the ones you used last. There are a couple potential exceptions:
- If you deleted the sidecar file (or moved the RAW file but not the sidecar) then it will reset to defaults. Note that you may not have sidecar files, depending on your settings for ACR/Lr
- If you processed in Lr and then opened in ACR, and the versions of the ACR engine differ, there might be some issues with interpreting settings. You might get a reset to default, or ?? |
