Didn't find anything suitable during the week, but this I grabbed on the day voting started. I would have entered if it had been a day earlier.

This would have been much closer and scored much higher but knowing you Im sure you went with what you wanted - your style and a taste of Nick

Exactly. It did well enough and it got some positive comments from people whose opinions I hold in high regard.

Some picks taken for this fun challenge.
One day when I grow up...

Life became a blur... Summer is here

My wife would not let me enter this. I guess it is safe to say she is right

I'd love to show you but it's busy tanking in another challenge. :)

Bump...
Come now members. Where's all the outtakes? So much anticipation when the challenge was on but now there's nothing happening here?

I was away visiting that week so didn't really have much time at all for photography but on the day the challenge was announced i did manage to take a few and i was so pleased with my entry that i entered it straight away (i was the first entry which was kind of cool). I did get a couple more from that day that i kind of like but nothing that was particularly Nixter-ish.

I'm not Nick, nor am I good at shooting what Nick shoots and how he shoots it, so my goal was more of how would Nick shoot/process the things I shoot.

Here's one outtake that I liked, but was pretty sure would get tons of low votes.
18+ Art Nude

And my entry which had only a so-so performance

I am axious to show off several of mine, but the only way it would work is to insert full-size images into the post. That seemed inappropriate/rude. Also, non-paying members can't upload images (other than challenge entries), which would allow me to post linked thumbs. I thought I'd link to my personal gallery, but apparently I'm still "too new" to post messages with URLs in them. I could post the URL without parsing, but that seemed like I'd be asking way too much from folks and few would likely bother.

Any ideas?

Edit: issue resolved!

If you are on Flickr, you can post thumbnails here that link to the flickr page. Like this.

Wayne Feeds by Yo Spiff, on Flickr.

Here's how to do it:

If not, you can get one for free that will let you post up to 200 pics.

Many thanks to Melethia for helping me upgrade my membership! I can now upload images to my portfolio and post links/thumbs. :)

I took a LOT of shots one afternoon for this challenge (too much continous mode shooting) and spent hours picking just a handfull that I thought were the best candidates in the "nixter style". Any feedback welcome!
