I have a couple of old converters from my ancient Coolpix990...

 TC-E2 tele 2x threads 62mm front thread
 WC-E24 wide angle .66X

Both have a Nikon LCER1 28mm Rear Cap but I'm not sure of the thread

Is there some sort of interesting macro reversing ring setup I might be able to cobble together with one of these?

Any other Ideas for using this glass with a DSLR? |

If you figure that one out, lemme know! I have a TC-E3ED and a WC-E63... oh, and an FC-E8 fisheye adapter as well.
The rear threads on these are 28mm, 0.75mm pitch (standard 28mm filter threads). |

 Thanks for the info.

I should probably take the coolpix out of my camera list. How long has it been since you actually used YOURS?

Uh, today... It's my "always in my pocket" camera, does great macro for the repair work I occasionally have to document, and is still pretty stealthy for that candid shot. Thank you for asking. |
