Whenever I go to England, there always seem to be a omapany that will insure your camera and equip.
With trying to do so here, I have come up with a blank (sorta)
I google it and come up with many maaaaaaaaaaaaaaany blogs and 'expert' advice that I should insure my equipment, but pooped if they drop names.
So can you, do you, who do you do it with , if any???
((((inspired by this thread and my obvious lack of Google skills flash flood))))))))))) |

I use travelers insurance for business. I have a little over 15k worth of equipment insured, which includes personal and property liability as well as rental coverage. I pay around $550 a year.

So Travellers, will insure just the cameras and lenses (personal, prop, rental)? And that is not tied into your Home policy at all??? |

I have a "personal articles" policy with State Farm Insurance which covers lost, stolen or broken camera equipment. They charged about $10 per $600 value I think, with no deductible. I had to provide my sales receipt to verify the cost of the equipment. It is not tied into our Home Owners policy and I don't know if you have to have other insurance with them to get the Personal Articles Policy, but we do have all our policies with them. Good Luck finding a policy! |

Correct. Any equipment can be insured. My home policy is separate and is through USAA.

I have my equipment and business through Hill and Usher. Very reasonable for a year. There are many places who do as well.

USAA will also give you a separate policy for your camera equipment. For my house I have Safeco and they also offered to insure it. |
