Has anyone used this company for Canvas Prints?

//www.canvaspop.com

The prices seem competitive with Canvas on Demand and they offer free shipping anywhere in the US, Canada or the UK.

Free shipping is on a purchase of two or more canvasses.

I have a question for anyone. Do you think splitting an image into three and making canvasses with them is kind of old and Walmarty? I see these every where now and I don't like them anymore because they're too common. Is it just me?

Even without the free shipping, it's a flat rate $14. Being Canadian there's no border crossing and possible additional charges to worry about.

Has anyone used them? If so, what do you think of the quality?

I havent used them before, but I would be tempted to. Their prices are pretty decent, and I like that they wont charge duty. They will charge HST though.

If you want to try them, check out groupon today for a discount coupon. My referral link to groupon is in my signature if you care to use it.

Seems very expensive to me. I just had a print done on canvas yesterday for only Euro 39-00. That's $50-00 without a frame.
That was for a 1 meter 40 x 70 cm large print on high quality heavy canvas. That's 55 inches x 28 inches. For that size the company you mention, CanvasPop, charges $216-00. The colors and details are also guaranteed to not fade and will last a lifetime. In fact I was told by the guy who owns the shop that I can even hang it outside and the wind and rain and sunlight wont affect the colors guaranteed.

I get 292.26 with the 1.5 inch thickness. That's too much for me.

What's the company you used ThingFish? Do they ship to Canada?

For what I want it'll cost me 95.90 for the .75in deep one. That's a 13x19 image. I still think it's too much.

Here's another Canadian company for comparison:

//www.ottawaoncanvas.com/include/prices.php

and another one:

//www.bestcanvas.ca/?gclid=CNL48o-p_aMCFcHY5wodHCs_Gw

and one more:

//www.posterjack.ca/canvas.php?mat_key_id=5

Just a few to compare.

Googling canvas prints brings up a ton of links. Looking at the prices they all seem to be in the same ball park. Just not the same park as ThingFish is in in the Netherlands.

This is the company: I am sure Dennis won't mind shipping to the USA. But I don't know if you have to pay customs over there and if so how much and then with the shipping and all it might not be so cheap anymore either.
