This plays really well in goggle chrome...don't know about other browsers...be sure to put in a real address, and it will open up several windows when it plays..also, write the postcard at the end because it becomes part of the experience.

That the "video" for the Arcade Fire song. Great Canadian band from Montreal.

That's extraordinary. Seems to work ok in FireFox...

I downloaded Chrome to try it, and found something curious in the drawing part:

First run-through, Firefox, the keyboard would not produce letters, I could draw only, but the slower I drew the denser the line became, and I could do very intricate fractal shading. In Chrome, the keyboard works and produces fractal letters, but the mouse, for drawing, produces a much more delicate line and doesn't permit the build up of denser shading at all.

Thanks so much for sharing, I thought it was really excellent.

You know, it's interesting. My suspicious mind tells me this is a very effective piece of self-promotion by Google, because I downloaded the Chrome browser to compare how this piece of art rendered in FF v Chrome (which is its native environment), and...

I'm SO impressed with Chrome I may move over to it.

Is this the right place to talk about that? Probably not. Probably needs a new thread. I found one from 2009 but it's kinda fragmented...

To me, once Chrome hit the dub dub dub, there was no longer any debate.
It's fast, simple, can be customised, and it keeps my favourites, documents, calender....wherever I go.
I just love google Chrome.

I had Chrome years ago, and what Bear and Sinky have said prompted me to re-download today.

In the first 2 minutes, I like what I see, and I like the improvements.

But, does anyone know if there is a Chrome version of the GreaseMonkey/Turnabout Extension? I like seeing the profile images on DPC forums.

Very cool!

And now that I have installed Chrome, how do I find, install, and use my bookmarks from IE?

When I installed Chrome, it asked me to close my current sessions of FF, and it automatically imported my favourites. Not sure why it wouldnt do the same for IE.

Does it have proper mouse gestures yet? Or only band-aid solution work-arounds?

Thanks Robert and yes, that IS what I am looking for.
I've been playing with it for a few minutes now, but haven't managed to make friends yet.
I can't find a list of the gestures, I can't find where to customize them, and I can't figure out how to open a link in a new tab (so far, I've only found out how to open a blank new tab).

Back, forward and refresh work, but I can't live without the other one anymore LOL.

I also haven't figured out yet how to tell Chrome to immediately go a newly created tab.

ETA: I'm getting closer!
ETA #3: phew..... got it! Not sure how I did the last one, but it happened, too :-)
Now I'll give Chrome another go for a while. Thanks, guys!

Google keeps coming up with new ways to get your information about your browsing habits. Now they're going for your home addresses too. You're probably going to start receiving junk mail from their partners after using this. lol

No thanks. Google knows enough about my browsing habits and that's already too much.

Still live with your parents then, Jac?

I use chrome as my regular browser and just tried it. It was fairly cool, but it seems to me that a web app should not be able to open and manipulate windows like that--isn't that EXACTLY what those rogue ads used to do -- create multiple popup windows. Remember when you hit a site that kept popping up such banner ads and the only way to get out of that was to kill the entire browser process?

Seems like Chrome is subject to that!
