Are addicted to the update button ?
Prepare yourself to be addicted to the DPC Firefox plugin.
Here is a screenshot of the plugin.
As I won't release it publicly before next week, i'd like to know if you have some ideas you want to see in such addon.
Here is the behavior of this addon :
- optional automatic update, minimum delay of 30seconds
- manual update by click on the plugin
- display the number of votes, views and favorites (number of comments soon) in the score tooltip
- display up/down arrow when your score goes up/down
- number of votes since last update and their average in up/down arrow tooltip
Any others idea? Everything is possible, except doing coffee...
It's done ... and released here :

You might want to run this past D&L (Help -> Contact Us, DPChallenge - Administrative Inquiry) to get their approval first, as anything that scrapes content off the DPC site or stores your DPC login credentials is potentially a ToU violation.

I hope that it's ok'd, because I think it looks cool! I really like the new votes and new vote avg option -- good thinking!

About the process: you don't log on my plugin but on dpc so that the addon can parse the front page. No datas are stored, just the score during one update.
I asked Langdon few days ago ... and still no answers. |
