Here's a guy who's apparently willing to give up his entire career, including pension and benefits, and face prison time for... what exactly? He's facing a court martial, where the only question is whether or not he disobeyed orders (slam dunk case), ostensibly because he doesn't think the president is a natural born citizen. I might understand the less-educated or more gullible elements of society believing this crap, but really, how stupid can this guy possibly be? The birth certificate he demands is already public record (verified by courts, news investigators and a Republican governor), Obama was cleared during the vetting process under the Bush administration, and his mother lived her entire life in the U.S. which would make him legally a American citizen at birth even if he was born overseas like McCain. The kicker is that these lunatics claim Obama was born in Kenya, despite the fact that his mother had never been to Africa. How is it even possible that such a ridiculous hoax can still persist? It's embarrassing.

I don't know, maybe it's the next stage in the development of that virgin birth thing -- first we didn't need the father, maybe now we don't need the mom either ... ;-)

Screwball in the corner pocket.

"It completely deprives us of any opportunity to present a defense in this case," Jensen said. Sorry Mr. Jensen, but stupidity is not a defense.

Well at least they have the comfort of knowing that 83,741,309 Americans feel the same way.

Only a few of those felt that way. The rest were gullible enough to believe them.

Driving through Pennsylvania this summer I saw a couple of big billboards that said nothing but "Where's the birth certificate?"

Bizarre, yes?

From Scalvert's link: "Hawaii has released a copy of the president's birth certificate -- officially called a 'certificate of live birth' -- and the hospital where he was born took out ads in two Hawaiian newspapers in 1961 announcing the birth."

And still, they doubt. More proof that people believe what they want to believe.
