I sometimes get pictures framed and I find my local guy who is very good and knowledgable a big help - he is really helpful about cutting mounts and knowing what colours of card, frame and image will work
In short I wouldn't swap to an online service for any money |

I often find open frames half price at Hobby Lobby and Michael's. I check the Sunday ads, since they usually have specific ones. I've never had much luck with online stuff but there might be some out there I don't know about. :) |

Same here - no online source. However, for my shows I get my frames at IKEA. If you have one close by - go take a look. |

Great ideas in this thread for local shops. Here we have a Hobby Lobby that puts all frames on sale for 50% every other week and always has a 40% off 1 item coupon printable online. I usually pay:
4 X 6: $5
11 X 14: $10
16 X 20: $15-$20 (depending on how fancy)
I usually mark the frames back up 50% when selling prints already framed.
