Yep, starting average of the side challenge. That figure will remain constant throughout the side challenge.

You folks with the already nice portfolios have it tough. My low starting average coupled with my entry being on pace to beat my PB by .2 would be tough for anyone. Not sure if I'm going to find time for 7s, though. Less than 2 weeks until my wedding, so free time is scarce.

Been bouncing around. Had my best start ever at 7.5 @ 5or6 votes. Went down to 6.3ish then to 6 even, back up now. I'm setting about o.7215 over my average. Hey blackgriffin did you get a shot in? How are you doing? i really don't like next weeks challenge...hmmmm.

Currently sitting at .5756 above my average... but vlado gave me a default. I wish I could use this score for next week instead :)

So how are you doing in "Rust"? I'm +.38 right now, a so-so performance.

I've picked up quite a lot and I'm now about 0.67 above my average.

I'm surprised, my image is quite dull.

I'm at a +.76 at the moment, but that's about the highest I've been all week. It's been as low as +.52

Still doing miserably. Don't let my failure be in vain! You have to go on to win the tournament so I can claim I just lost because it was inevitable against such strong competition. Find time to shoot!!!

(I'm a mom; I've got lots of pratice guilting people LOL. The kids are off on their own so I need to practice once in awhile! Don't want my skills to get "rusty," especially since I seem to be bad at rusty.)

I turned off my scores out of disgust with my performance in Yellow, so I have no idea where I stand right now.

Mine has gone down a bit more, I'm at 0.2334 above my average.

Leaving the country and hastily shooting for this challenge is killing my score. Now I have an image in my portfolio that I'm ashamed of. LOL

I was hoping to participate longer in your challenge - I guess I thought the challenge was going to be a bit different than an elimination one, more like 6 or so weeks of trying to beat your avg every week and then the winner being the one at the end with the highest difference. So, when I saw on the first day of voting in the Rusted challenge that I was getting very low votes, I decided that since I wasn't going to win this round and might not even beat my avg, I would self-DQ.......so I did. Maybe my score would have gone up enough on day 2 or 3 etc, I don't know, but those early 1 and 2 votes on an image that clearly met the challenge, were very discouraging.

So, thanks for all your hard work putting the challenge together, it was fun.....for one round anyway! :-D

Ahh, don't give up yet. :) My shots have a tendency to plummet throughout the week, and even moreso on weekends. I've already dropped to a +.70 since my last post.

0.4487 above my starting average. I'm pleased. Don't know what my competitor is doing, though.

Only .15 above mine. Don't know where my opponents stands either, but judging from his portfolio, it's been a long time since he didn't beat his average by more than that. I'd say this is the end of the road for me... :P
