Hello all you fans of the Nik Software

I couldn't find a previous reference to this any where in the forums, so .....

Just read in the Nik Flickr group about a new Nik product for HDR. Knowing the quality of their other products, I am waiting with baited breath to see what this one will be like. :) If the other products are anything to go by, this will be awesome.
New Nik HDR Software - coming soon....

Also in the flickr group, a B&W contest for Nik Silver Efex. I know a lot of people use this software, so ..

Nik Silver Efex Photo Contest

Yes, it's on flickr, but the flickr group is actually run by Nik Software.

Now, off to check out the podcast about the HDR software....

Yes, Thanks. HDR with localized u-point controls sounds really interesting. Hope they include Aperture 3 right from the beginning :-)

just watched a demo webinar.

1. Will be available for Aperture 3, LR & PS (not Elements) Not for Capture NX2 either.
2. No beta even available at this time.
3. They do not know when it will be available, not imminently anyway.
4. They do not yet know how much it will cost
5. Control point technology worked well.
6. Multiple presets available, will work with single images

etc, etc.

Hard to tell from the webinar how noise was handled.

Looking forward to seeing it once launched. I imagine I will fork out the dosh for this
