It's my b-day today, so I've been remiss in getting out and shooting for this sc. Shot something for the still life which turned out great - so I'm excited to see the response :-)

In the meantime, my last one from the zoo:

August 14. Spent the day driving into Pennsylvania to fetch my daughter from two months as a summer camp counselor. Here's a snapshot of her saying goodbye to the camp director.

Thanks for the comments. All have value. The topaz is a bit strong. I'll agree with that. But I wanted to make this something different than a clean bird-in-flight shot, which it is. I used the magnetic lasso tool to select the background, which was pretty drab, and added color and took out some noise (Topaz De-noise). Used Topaz adjust and selected mild details and then adjusted the sliders. After flattening the layers I used the posterize filter in PS elements. Any suggestions on how to get a cleaner border of the bird where I had cut it with the Lasso tool?

Put the original (full size) in your workshop so we can take a look at it. JPG is ok, and it doesn't have to be the highest save value. Say, 750-1000 kb is fine.
