Hey guys,

Really sorry if somone has already asked this, i did a quick scan and couldnt find any other posts.

Im looking to build or buy a backdrop kit and wondered what was best and what was the cheapest option.

The best one i have found so far is this one on ebay, //cgi.ebay.co.uk/HeavyDuty-Studio-Backgound%2fBackdrop-Support-Stand-_W0QQitemZ170444247982QQcmdZViewItem?rvr_id=123755258268&rvr_id=123755258268&cguid=10c4eb321280a0aad5939673ff7a6984 it has everything i was looking for, the bolts on the top, the heavy duty bar along the top, and the carry case is perfect for what i want.

But at £70 i was wondering if there was a similar product for cheaper or that ive found the cheapest already. Thought it would be better off to ask.

Another question also, most of the materials i keep finding are Muslin and this is really cheap and horrible to use, what material would you recommend to use? Im looking for one that kinda absorbs the light like the muslin, but also one that has a shiny effect to it.

Thanks in advance!

- thank cowboy :)

IDK about backdrop kits in the UK but i recently got a savage backdrop kit from B&H. 100 bucks and comes with a 12 yd. roll of white seamless. its damn sturdy from what i can tell and the pole extends to 10 ft.

The photo looks exactly like a kit i used to have, its too flimsy for my liking. The middle pole bent when we added a slightly heavier material.

I don't know what the white paper is worth, but these seem to be a way better ($30-45 plus tax and/or shipping cheaper than B&H) deal. Option 1, Option 2
