It was gone upto 5.7 but unfortunately it was Disqualified :(
I didn't noticed the note on borders though I have done only minimal processing. I resized the photograph once & added the border. Any way a DQ after a long time.

Somewhat disappointed with how this is being received. 5.54 at the moment. I think it's a darn good shot, and I've seen similar entries with advanced editing pull in the 6's. Something is getting me a lot of 4's and 5's. I suspect we are all so used to seeing wow on DPC that most of these are just looking bleh, even when they are well done. As I vote, I am trying to avoid comparing to the usual challenges and rate based on what photographer did manage to achieve without adjustments.

As long as you were having fun isn't that what should matter?? Of course I have fun with the shot and editing then voting comes around and the fun usually goes away...

Yes that is true, the thing is my PB I didn't edit...it is something I haven't really ventured much into...I really must.

i think the rules are written too complex. Minimal Editing should have three sentences (directly concerning about what is and is not allowed)

1. Your original camera capture must be a JPEG.
2. You may sharpen the JPEG using a non-customizable sharpen tool.
3. You may resize the JPEG once to create a version for submission.

Nothing more. Period.
