I usually take the train in to work, but I've been working late this week, so I've been driving. Check out the spot I got today, underground downtown Toronto. Almost 24 hours if I want it that long, for only $22.

Pillar-guarded and Ding-free, Baby! :-)

I think it's cheaper because this lot is hidden and tough to get into.

Quite cheap really... I've had it cost nearly that much for an hour in DC.

I used to pay $30.00 a month for downtown parking...I thought that was high

I think the most expensive place I've parked in Dallas was $14 (US) for the day, but it's been over 3 years and I'm sure it's gone up now.

The point I'm getting at is all the space there is around my car. It's so luxurious that I may never leave. :-)

Except for the guy that usually gets that space that takes a key to yours for having the audacity to park there. ;-)

However, if you never leave the parking place you may get tired walking to and from work...lol

Consider yourselves lucky. This is what we have to deal with in Calgary.....

It also looks like you're open to someone taking out the right-front door and wheel area by coming between those pillars; maybe one of those carts the maintenance and security folks seem to drive around everywhere...

FYI - Calgary is one of the most expensive in North America and is the highest in Canada by far:

That's because it costs extra to clean up after your horses.

Nice. Where do you live Strikeslip?

Edit: sorry, forgot you were the OP.

Next time you aren't busy managing the centre of the universe take a moment to work on your Alberta jokes.

Almost the best song ever.

(Can someone parse that? I am mobile and it won't let me hyperlink properly. Thanks)

Maybe some of your fellow parkers have poor spacial awareness and look at the gap and think "There`s no way I can get my car into that" - looking at the righthand column it seems a few people have rubbed it up a bit.
