Hello everyone!
I am still trying to learn about PhotoShop Elements and here is something I worked on...what do you think?
Mandy
Here is the original:
Is the original a better idea? Simpler?

technically well done, even if the original is much better in composition, IMHO. |

i like them both. Next time, try getting a "whiter background" If you dont know how, just use a lot of lighting, all the same bulbs. I use 3 lights, all with GE Reveal 60 watt bulbs. the lights cost 7 bucks each at walmart. The bulbs were like 2 dollars for 4.

umm yeah.. allright. i think the cloth background with wrinkles is a bit distracting, so like hsteg said.. make the backgrond white. i am not sure i see any blacks in the photo's either.... perhaps i think it is a bit low contrast, or light.

well no maybe i take it back.. it seems like there is enough contrast... but not enough gradations.. .i am not sure i am a big fan of the lighting you used.

The lighting was natural light from a window...it was great when I started, but unfortunately a storm blew in while I was taking pics and they got darker and darker (the last few I took were completely worthless). It's hard to tell what the lighting looks like on the tiny LCD screen, I can only tell when I put them on the computer. |
