Yes, my average vote received is now 5.6789. It may not last for very long; it's bound to go one way or the other.
But I have been looking forward to this for months.

That's going to be hard to maintain!
You could use that spreadsheet to determine what you need to vote in order to maintain it though.

Steve, I think you take more risks in your submissions than I do. And as you've pointed out plenty of times, average scores don't really tell you a whole lot...
Niall, what I'd really like to do is use a spreadsheet to find out when, at this rate, I can hit 6 :)

4.5196 is my averaged score.

Thanks! I've been pleased that my average has been steadily on the increase since I came back to DPC earlier this year. I'll also be thrilled if I can make it to 5.7...

I've been working on increasing my average vote cast, too. Somehow it seems very easy to vote harshly. Some sort of bad feedback between my impression of the score's likely final score and the score I think I should be giving it. I'm still working on getting over that. My average vote cast in the FS is about 5.9, and my overall average vote cast just recently passed 5.4, another milestone :)

FWIW, my average was about 5.2 when I started working on this, clearly though, you have to work much harder to change your average as you've 4x as many votes as I do overall.... |
