In my version, typing the letter "i" brings up a general info window, which then has a button to bring up the EXIF info. |

What version of IrfanView is that? I'll have to download it and check it out. I have version 3.61 |

I have version 3.80. If I have an image loaded and click the info button on the tool bar (a blue lower case i in a red circle) a dialog box labelled "IrfanView Image Properties" opens. In the lower left corner are two buttons; the top one says EXIF info and the bottom one says IPTC info. Click the top one to display full EXIF in the same window. If the EXIF info button is absent it means the image has no exif information. |

I have 3.85, May be i am down loading the snaps in a wrong way, as when i used download using canonzoom browser it used show exif info (i dont zoom browser stopped working)
Well when i connect my camera to my pc using usb and switch on my camera i get a dialogue box statiting " Please choose which application should receive image" and box shows list of registered application , these are Photoshop , canaon zoom browsee and imaging.
Even when i click Photoshop , PS open but immediatly Pc switches to Imaging software
i am using Windows 98 second Second edition

I believe you need to go to the homepage and download the plug in. I just noticed that I cannot get the info either. I am running 3.85 |

That is what I downloaded, went to the file and ran it. All versions of Irfan should be closed, to be safe, I shut down all but the installer. When I went back to Irfan hit i, then there was a button for exif. There was however no button on the file that I saved using a Arcsoft Photo Editor. That must not have saved the exif info. Hope this helps as it is the best I can do. Good luck.
