That's part of the reason why I'm thinking about not voting in this challenge. I probably wouldn't do it justice.

you win!...i throw in the towel on this one..... i woke up this morning to my score being an entire point lower than when i went to bed....4.6 :( (i've never had a drop that big overnight) it was nice to hang with such a great photographer for a while anyway.... good luck and i hope your score keeps going up! |

| I am at 4.6 for the shot I thought to be there in top 10!!! If I stay this low, I will have to seek for answers for this low score(It may be considered rant later on, but I will have to seriously find answer to what went wrong). |

Quite frankly, I don't think voters understand the concept of minimalism. The one comment I got wished there'd been more detail. Go figure... |

I think everyone's idea of what is and what isnt minimalism is very different... that may be why scores are all over the place.... I have a an opinion of what i consider minimalism but it might totally differ from someone else. I didnt DNMC anyone because of this... however those I felt were not what I thought were minimalism did lose a point (or two depending how far off) they were... I still had a very high voting average. 6.286 - I think this challenge is going to have some upset submitters because some have strong beliefs as to what is and what isnt. I just hope everyone stays friendly.
Im actually afraid to comment on this challenge... for fear ill get snapped at LOL

Seem to be getting a lot of low votes and a lot of high votes, guess that goes with the challenge. Sitting at 5.8 in the summertime meal challenge and just finished with a 5.8 in the shallow depth of field challenge . |

Okay, I apologize for the rant. I got feedback from couple of photographer friends. I guess, it was me who didn't really understand the concept. Funny, I got comment saying that my picture is exactly opposite of minimalism. Obviously, I failed to make my minimalist subject stand out in the picture. But I am happy with my photo. |

Well I'm dropping a bit 5.53 but have one nice comment. I knew I was taking a chance with my entry but I personally like it. Funny thing is, I know minimalism well - if you google "minimalism" and look at images, I have one listed on the third page!!! It's a black and white mug. I was going to try to recreate it for the challenge but the mug broke! : ((

| The photos in this challege are wonderful! I thought about submitting to this but could never decide what or how I wanted to shoot so the deadline slipped by - and after viewing the images there, I'm glad it did! Some really tough competition in this one!! |
