bahaha i win!! i just got the brown in shallow DOF! lol thats a first for sure. do i get a ribbon for that?

Impressive! But that happens surprisingly often, I think. It's happened to me on many occasions - having two scores nearly identical - and have seen it from a lot of other people. I think the random number generator gets stuck on your user ID for a few go-rounds, then it kicks back off into random again. Think?

Nearly identical is quite common, but truly identical is quite rare. Most of the time there's a difference of fifty or more votes cast between the two challenges, so it's hard for the math to come out ot four decimal places. In this case though, the challenges started just one day apart, so there's a chance at some point they'll have the same number of votes, making the chances of the division working out evenly higher.

Hey everyone. I'm in a Capture My Chicago photography contest. Take a look, and if you find my pictures appealing please register and vote for them. I would have posted this sooner, but one of my pictures there was from the Industrial challenge here.

Just had a look at it, it happened to me 4 times that 2 images had an identical score.
