I want to let my buddy (and ribbon winner: justmistere ;) post photos from our recent photo shoot.

I was the photographer. He was the lighting assistant.

I'm thinking I just give the model one release form and then he should be able to post them (on his web-site for example) without a problem - does this just depend on the verbage of the release form do you think?

The model need only sign a release for you. It should say that you can do (basically) anything with them -- that's the "standard" language in most releases.

You then give permission/license your buddy to post them, with or without payment, just as you could license it to a magazine for their cover (preferably WITH payment in that case!).
