I gave been asked to shoot some pregnancy photos Baby Bump etc also model with partner,I would welcome any input I want to avoid the " Tacky" look of top pulled up above bump etc.

i'm not a professional or anything, but i've taken some pics for friends that were expecting, and my favorite, was when my friend wore her husband's white button down and left it unbuttoned in the tummy section... it looked really cute, especially with shots of the both of them.

Try a nude. Matters of decency being totally personal, I'm sure that nothing else shows off the beauty, strength, vulnerability, and humanity of a pregnant nude. I know it's been done often, but usually without the face. Try getting the model to evoke sadness, hope, fear, or stoicism. That way, the face as well as the body work together. I want to do the same thing with my partner, in various ways.

Did a nude of my pregnant wife. Shot her pregnant looking into a floor length mirror. Months later after the birth, took another picture of her holding our son in the same mirror. A little photoshop and you get a neat picture.

thanksguys I feel a lot more confident now I am going to contact the mother to be and talk a lttle more with her and bring up your suggestions many thanks nick
