I did a quick shoot yesterday for a Sax player who plays with Sting and a ton of other people using the HonL Traveller 8 Softbox that I'm kinda digging.

It did a good job, placed off camera on a table, softbox with a speedlight combo, super easy set-up. One reflector paired with ambient light...not too much voodoo on the editing, it'll probably replace my strobe rig.

Looks like some nice soft light and seems very portable, how sturdy is it once put up on the strobe?

The little stand that comes with the SB-900 can support it's weight, tilting the flash horizontally, directly at the subject. Of course you can attach the speedlight to a tripod, no problem. On a few shots I pointed the flash slightly upward or to the side feathering the light onto the subject. There were 4 different light sources happening, a little sunlight coming through a sub-sidewalk window, a few small bulbs lighting some pictures and the huge neon BAR sign in the back so, given the odd balance of conflicting sources, I think it did a good job.

Anyway, it's good for people who might need a quick lighting solution, easy to carry without packing major gear.

Looks like a nifty fold-away mod, gives a nice light. I've been using the Lumiquest Softbox III for a while, and I think it works well for up-close portraits. I like that it folds down to an 8x8 sheet of paper, essentially...just slip in down the side of my Slingshot and voila.

I like that one as well but a few people said that the shape blocked off or gave some difficulty for the remote flash to read the signal sent from the camera. It's a larger lightsource which I'm sure helps and the size is great.
