I just got my first Mac....a gently used 2 yr old Macbook Pro. The former user has it set up with a dual boot system so he could use some PC programs on it by booting up with Windows. I am going to upgrade the 200gb hard drive to a 500 gb and would prefer not to have this set up as anything but Mac.

Do any of you have ANY version of Photoshop you would be willing to sell cheap? I would then pay Adobe to upgrade
to CS5

You can have one or the other platforms activated, but not both. (I'm not a convert but I've helped some that went to Mac)

I figured that but just realized my last purchase was an upgrade ....I doubt they would give me a full version for Mac in place of the upgrade. I think I need to buy a used older version cheap and then upgrade from there

I knew that would work out for you having just gone through this with a friend. I just didn't get a chance to tell you before you found out yourself that you would be fine. You just can't have one license both platforms at the same time.

Really, there is no "legal" way to send you software. But since I upgraded to CS4, my old CS2 CD and its license code valid for 2 more entries is just sitting around. I don't know how I could get it to ya though.
