im looking for a handstrap for my Canon rebel. I usually wrap the neckstrap around my hand to give me some security but the excess has been getting in my way a bit, id like to find a nice handstrap just to give me some extra security that im not going to drop the camera.

any recommendations on a good one?

Canon E-1 Handstrap

Similar product at half the price.

I have used straps like this in the past, and liked them OK, but it's not a priority for me; I just do the strap-wrap thing with my neckstrap, which has quick-release buckles so I can remove it easily when tripodded...

At one time I used a wrist strap similar to this one. It does not hold your hand to the camera, though. It's just a tether to keep the camera from falling if you should drop it.

Here are some others like that
