just to give you an idea of how good of a deal this is ... I paid around $30.00 (it was on sale at the time) for my Westcott 42" square reflector (silver and white only)

I use it all the time ... it's a "must have" for portrait work

Over three weeks to ship??? I know it's a good deal but that seems a little long don't you think? I could've sworn it said 10-16 day shipping when I checked out.

Yeah, mine shipped today as well, but I didn't get a range of estimated delivery dates. It just said August 13. Really no big deal, I'm just impatient. But what are they using, carrier pigeons?

Ordered a couple myself. Bummer they wouldn't combine shipping charges for multiple quantities.

It's being processed by a vendor via amazon.com (not amazon.com themselves). All "sub-contracted" (or whatever term they use) orders via amazon will have wonky shipping estimates from the amazon site. You can get a better idea of shipping estimates by looking at the reviews for the vendor (find the actual vendor name on the product page, select it, and read the review info).

You have to be careful sometimes ordering via "sub-vendors" on amazon. I got burned once (ended up being serviced by, believe it or not, one of the Crooklyn camera dealers in NY). It took several weeks to "fix" via amazon's customer support, but eventually I got all my money back -- but several weeks of hassle. Just watch carefully who your order is being serviced by. I always triple-check now any time I order through amazon.

Cool info. I grabbed the cheaper shipping one. I figure theres really no "brand name" here and its the same cheap chinese S#*t from the same factory.
