I just bought one recently and it was difficult to find a reasonably priced one in America. What type of signal do you want to send from what and to what?

Nah, it should be easy to find a reasonably priced one in america. The best cable website in the world, Monoprice.com has some.

Actually I was looking for the exact opposite. An adapter that will take in an rgb input and put out a monitor end.

I was going component video to VGA and with that you have to add Horizontal and vertical pulse to the signal so i had to buy this Component to VGA converter which actually came from china. That's why I asked.
