I feel like I should penalize myself for taking snapshots with a $2500 camera and $1500 lens......I should dig out an old point and shoot.

It's ok Matt. These were done with a $95 camera, and $14.99 lens.
This is some of the native vegetation in this area.

If I had a $2500 camera and a $1500 lens I'd take everything with them!

Sorry I've been MIA. I seem to be having trouble keeping up with SC's any more. But, my aunt is moving into a house that needs a bunch of work and I've been helping her out. Anyway, I took today "off" and got my granddaughter a treat. LOL!

This Red Kite often comes around my house and glides about teasing me because I never seem to have my camera handy. Well today I did!
Shame I did not have my Sigma 150-500 fitted instead of the 70-200L so I had to crop this a lot. Tone mapped this in HDR Darkroom to get some detail of the feathers etc.
