Well I bought this from Photorico. Can't wait for it to come in. What kind of Macro photography can be done with this? I am a little confused about this being a macro and a 300mm. I thought that macros were always lower in the mm department?

| It's not going to be a true macro as it wont give a true 1:1 ratio. however you should still have tons of fun with this lens. |

I'm sure I will. I've been wanting a zoom lens for quite some time now. I was trying to take a picture of a bird with a fish in his mouth 2 weeks ago. The bird was just sitting there looking at me but my lens couldn't reach him. I was so pissed.
