Oh, cool! Can't say I have any of those around where I am! We do have wild hogs, deer and I spotted a fox the other day. A moose would be awfully cool, though.

Those are great, you are so lucky to live where you do.The wildlife, I"m sure, is amazing.I'm going to have to get up that way some day!

thanks cdn1 - we do have some wonderful wildlife here, but I still miss the lower 48 states. I'd move back in a heartbeat if I could get someone to look past Alaska on my resume'

Great shots Linda! You must have been really close to get those with the 28-135mm. I'm at a cabin on "Moose Point" on a lake in N. MN right now but the moose are long gone from this area. Wish there were still some around here as they are magnificent creatures!

I was close, these are not cropped at all. I love the moose here. So sad to hear that the ones at Moose Point in MN are all gone now.

How did you get these? Were you in a tree? Hot air balloon? Plane? Helicopter? Jet Pack? Alien spaceship?

Linda, I thought you DID move back to the lower 48 - didn't you have something lined up in Michigan, or am I thinking of something else? And yes, were you in a spaceship to shoot these? Cool perspective, nifty critter!

Same question I had.

Great pics, Linda! I won't say that a moose is the goofiest looking animal on the planet but- well, yes, yes I will.

I was on a platform when I took these shots.

As for a job lined up....I had an interview in WI, but they hired someone local. I really do wish I could find something on the lower 48...heck I don't even care what state anymore. But, I can't move without having a job offer, unless some nice DPCer offers me their basement to live in with my 4 dogs until I find work. lol I find plenty of openings, and have even gotten a few interviews by phone, but no one wants to hire someone that is all the way in Alaska.
