But seriously, if you put a lot of effort into the place - lots of comments, plenty of participation in challenges and side challenges, etc, you should do just fine! Perhaps that's where I've gone wrong...

you just joined the wrong DPL team. I picked up some very useful things there. Told ya' you should have come to the dark side :)

SO not true - my DPL team has been incredibly supportive and awesome! I just suck. And they so kindly put up with that.
But I really need to comment more, enter a few more challenges. Obviously I'm a slacker.... |

What she said. I'm not very good but I enjoy reading the threads and entering. I have learned some things while I've been a member, and know that I'll learn more with time. |

I meant that I agree with Melethia. My DPL team has been supportive of me as well!!!! Melethia is being modest she is much better than than she claims here! |

Don't believe her! She is an amazing artist, and absolutely the #1 favorite person of every single member and non-member on DPC. Buttttt. . . maybe it can be detrimental if you depend too much on the mobs validating you with great scores. The voters can be very unpredictable, but very likely to always give the same kinds of pictures ribbons, leaving tremendous art in the middle of the pack (or worse) like plenty of mine.

| I think we should get a little something when we hit our anniversaries. I'll take a grog bobble-head when I hit the 4th year mark this fall :) Or a DPC Camera strap darn it. |

| I love the camera strap I got from Smug Mug. I always thought a camera strap was a great idea for DPC. So yes, back to the camera strap :D |
