So, I bought a reversal ring and a m42 lens adapter for my 40d. Im really happy with the results i can get with an unwanted 28-70mm

Check out the pics...

Oh I like that eyeball :)
How much does the ring and the adapter cost, if you don't mind me asking.

its like 10 bucks on ebay. Just look up reversal ring for your camera.

Its hard to get used to, you have to get very close, but its pretty rad.

I also am able to use my 50mm 1.4 Yashinon lens, which means 4 bucks is a good alternative to spending a ton on a new canon lens.

Hey you... I have a reversal ring which I'm starting to use with my 28-135 IS USM. See some of the first photos I shot with it.

I got curious about what is the m42 adapter. Is it a reversal ring for other types of lens?

Another doubt, is it possible to use an old 50mm FD lens with a digital EOS? What are the limitations? I suppose the autofocus will not work, which is ok for me and aperture will be manual too. What else?
And what adapter I need to buy to use such lens?
