Hi everyguys!
Well, as some of you may already know, I am scheduled to have a solo photo show next month at my local art gallery. I'm very excited.
The images I am using are pretty varied and don't fall under any specific theme - so coming up with a show name isn't really easy for me. Normally I like to use clever double entendres for such things but nothing really resinates with me.
THIS is what I am currently usgin but I am having second thoughts as it is pretty boring (the title) â€Â¦ the image is great of course ;) - hey it won a ribbon! =)
Anyway, I'm hoping to bounce some ideas off of you guys and maybe we can come up with something to help me out â€Â¦ I'm planning on using this butterfly/iron image because I think it has the right vibe for me -- Just need a new title[/u].
I'll start:
"UNHEARD OF" title is modest and has a double meaning in that people use it when someone does something crazy - but also when something is simply unknown.

As a side note - I'm planning on donating any profits to a charity. Yet to be determined. But that might influence title ideas.
I have a friend that works with gettting for for the hungry- so this may be the charity.
If this is anything like other threads or email chains, I will post all the replies here - it's like a digital psychologist - they can just sit there while I spill my guts ;) Haha!

Firstly, congratulations fellow teammate!
Secondly, I think you could strengthen your title.
I think what you should focus on is the juxtaposition of the photo you're using. You have a photo which shows natural and synthetic, alive and created, animate and inanimate.
I don't have a particular suggestion, but I think playing along those lines will benefit you. Otherwise, there's no real relation back to the image itself.
Good luck though, in any case! |

True - thanks.
Feel free to post unfiltered thoughts as well -
this can be digi-brainstorming which I find really can work well since I sit at a computer all day. =) |

Ha - those are clever.
I'm trying to distance myself a bit from the image - but this helps brainstorming!
So far my top running ideas are:
"unheard of"
"a limited time"
and
"thought for food" (based on that profits go to feed the hungry).
Keep brainstorming with me ! =)
