Deceptively simple. If subjects are easy to find, then your photo has to really stand out to do well in voting. |

This challenge topic has me a little stressed but after my 3rd shot of vodka I suddenly remembered the wise advice of the great Bartholomew Simpson "don't have a cow man"! It took my 5th shot to realise - VODKA!! Now on my 10th shot I'll take my shot and hope for a  posthumous Ribbon ;)
Now on me ??th (lost count) shoot.. erm um soht... shot yous now wat i meen decided two lazi (now whers the tolet)

| This should satisfy the people in rural areas who get unhappy about challenges that are oriented more to big city dwellers. Not a lot of cows in NYC last I knew. (But Joisey has a lot of them) |

Chiggers and mosquitoes, lot of fun there!
I shot some pics of wild hogs on the way into work this morning. Right across the street from Bell Helicopter. Guess I can't pass that off as a bovine... |

It was 105 degrees here today. I found some cows, but did you realize that cows don't ever lift their heads when they're grazing?! I sat out there for about an hour, and they had their heads down 99.97% of the time! Which is fine for some shots, but after about 10-15 minutes, I had done everything that I could think of with heads down.
Somehow it's not nearly as exciting as sitting and trying an eagle or great blue heron shot.
