58mm and +10 Close up Macro Lens for Canon
I got one today (husband thought it was cool for 5 bucks) and not quite sure about the how to's on it.
I cant find much information on it.
My back is out so Im kind of stuck in bed... so I cant shoot and play with it.
Any ideas?
This is the lens and the +10 magnifying ring. |

Good for you! No experience with it, sorry.
You can now confirm the thread count of the bed sheet... :-)

Back in the day I used a set of Macro diopters on the end of a standard lens to do some macro work.
Screws on the end of the lens and is basically a magnifying glass at the end of the lens for closer focus capability.

| Extremely shallow depth of field, otherwise fun to play with. |

I have one, haven't used it much, but the one time I did, people thought I had gotten a Lensbaby.

| Take care of your back, it has to carry you for a long time! I may look for one of those just to put on a lense now and then. |

| Good luck with your bad back. Although I've never needed surgery, I have been bed-ridden with back pain - it's dreadful, so my sympathies. I hope you are soon feeling better and able to play with your new lens. It sounds like fun - and a great bargain. |
