Who sounds sillier?

To attend site to repair Gas heater - Pilot Light working but main burner not
lighting Owner was to remove Heater as arranged to bring to the workshop for
repair. Owner found switch that was not turned on and heater worked.

Damn it, your supposed to say the professional :) Its a switch marked on the side of the heater that's up against the wall. Still it would have been interesting to see how much the bill would have been if I'd gotten it into the shop. |

Haha! I can relate. At our old house we had oil heat/hot water. The shut off switch was at the top of the basement stairs, and of course when we first moved in we had no idea what the switch did. Occassionally it would get shut off when someone went down the basement & turned off the light on their way up, then we'd have no hot water. It didn't really take too long to figure it out though. |
