Juliet, in all seriousness, I have sometimes seen that happen during voting. I just had a look at the HDR challenge and there are several photos of water in a row BUT...I think it's just the randomness of the draw in how they get placed through that random placement. I could be wrong but, that's my guess. I DO see what you mean in the examples that you gave. I wish that I had have taken note of that before the challenge ended voting.

It's OK to talk about trends in photos/challenges in general, but please do not discuss specific pictures which are currently still in the voting phase.

These three entries appear consecutively in the Famous Photograph challenge....(Afghan Girl)...but there were five others scattered about.

C'mon now lets not challenge the intelligence of an average DPC voter! How long did it take for half a dozen of us to give an exact count of the AG entries in the Famous Photograph challenge from the moment that voting started? (and not all of them appeared together??):-)

We grow up learning by finding commonalities and differences (big/small, red/blue, black/white, American/European, etc etc.). We will figure out the similarities/differences one way or the other. ;-);-)

You guys find it odd that they are next to each other. I was just mad that there was another finger'stache at all! I thought I'd stick out. Instead, there's another and it scored better than mine.

Overthere and Overthere
Over Ripe and Overripe
Over flow and Overflow

Placed randomly? What are the odds in 90 entries?

I notice this quite a lot as well, I just put it down to amusing coincidence, good to see some others are seeing this too.

Um, Famous Photograph challenge was back at the beginning of June...hope they still aren't in voting phase. :)

It happens to me off and on too. Once there were 2 similar photos with the exact same title next to each other.

I have one up on that.

In the recent free study, there were two photos on my page side by side....wife's then husband's.
