Kind of came out like the Leaning tower of Piza. LOL! I guess I cut the dowel rods too short on one side. If I ever do this again I'm getting push in pillars so I don't have to worry about cutting anything. All went well though, and it tasted quite yummy. |

I have two interesting opportunities, photography oriented, in the coming weeks.
First is a 'gala' for the local Boys & Girls club. This is a volunteer opportunity. It's Thursday evening, but I'm having a minor medical procedure that morning, so I'll play it by ear as to whether I go or not.
The second is a paid gig so-to-speak. A couple hours at the beginning of a Bar Mitzvah at a very up-scale banquet hall. Candid photos "paparazzi style".
I'm actually quite looking forward to that one, it sounds like fun. |

Not sure yet, I may just do a large soccer ball. I did a pumpkin last year so I know how to go about the round cake so I may just do that. Or I may do a soccer field with a smaller soccer ball. Will post a shot of it after I am done, hope it goes well. |

Hello all you suckers out there, I've been busy trying to get my last big job finished up so I can retire.
I have also been riding my bike while my wife runs (she won't let me run anymore because of my knees) as she builds up from the couch to 5 k running program. I'm so proud of her and I try to get out with her every time so it takes away from DPC but I spend more time with my wonderful wife.
Oh and we celebrated 25 years of being together on the 10th of June. It will be 19 years married in the 10th of August. :)
All the best to all you suckers out there and I'm sure I'll be sucking along soon enough.

I have been out and about but not taking many photos. Put in for boats sucking nicely thanks for asking. Like Max, I'm spending more time with my wonderful husband. I just clebrated 28 years of being married on the 12th of June. Hopefully I will get back to taking more pictures soon.

Congrats to  Quigleyand  poser on your respective wedding anniversaries, upcoming and just passed! Recently I was very honoured to be asked to join Ryan's family for his parents' 40th anniversary. I was the only outsider invited. |

June's the month!! Jeff and I are celebrating 21 years on the 24th! (My 100-400L was a 20th anniversary present. I think this year will probably be jelly beans :)
