Hi, I just bought myself a Nikon DX Micro lens (85mm). The auto focus is extremely slow; occasionally it takes as long as a few seconds. I am just wondering if that is normal for micro lens. Thanks.

I have this lens and yes it compared to my Nikon 17-55 the focusing can be snail paced slow.
I "assume" it's this way because it is a closeup lens.
For what I use it for it doesn't matter.

Hi! Do you think that this lens is too slow for insects (like bees?) Thanks!!
