I'm almost starting to think that my shot is too mundane. I think it's kinda funny though. But does anybody feel that they made their shot too mundane as well?

I've the opposite dilemma.
Everyone is saying "what is it?"
And I thought the point was to make something ordinary look extraordinary. If I show it in an ordinary state, it is not extraordinary.
Hmmm.
Can't win. I bet a LOT of people are going to score 5.5.
Edited to add: I personally think this is the best photograph I have ever submitted to DPC - both technically and artistically.

2nd most comments I've ever received during the voting stage. Commentators seems to enjoy it. This is probably my favorite shot that I've entered in a challenge.
Edit: If all goes well(fingers crossed) it should be my 2nd highest score.

Funny you should mention that because it's the lowest amount of comments I have received. I'm not complaining, I find rather humerous really! :)

| Mine's hanging around the 5.8 area, I can't complain because that's the highest I've gotten so far. Some don't get mine either, my title was not clear enough. I think next challege, I will do more "expaining" in my title. |

I feel really good about the shot I submitted for fire, hope that one goes better than this one, I am sitting at a 4.7. Oh well, it's hit or miss really.
