Got this NASA 3D sun app for the iphone and its kinda cool. Anyway just got the following alert;

A coronal mass ejection is heading toward Earth. NOAA forecasters say there is a 50% chance of geomagnetic activity on May 27 and 28 when the cloud delivers a glancing blow to our planet's magnetic field. High latitude sky watchers should be alert for Auroras.

I gotta say Dave that with all the rain and clouds we're getting right now this notification is something of a tease. :)

I know its raining cats n dogs here :( wonder if Banff is any better ATM lol...
