I was wondering if this program would be legal under the advance rules: Zerene Stacker

Basically you take as many photos as you want at different focus points and combine them into one photograph. If you only used 10 photos I would assume it is legal because of this: "create your entry from 1-10 captures of a single scene (defined as a scene whose composition/framing does not change). All captures used must be shot within the challenge submission dates."

Have any of you Macro shooters used this or a similar program for a challenge submission?

If it is just stacking up to 10 photos to get a wider range of focus, then it should be legal, as long as all 10 frames are the same composition (no new elements can come into/out of any of the frames)

I was thinking this EXACT same thing only last night. I would assume it applies to the same ruleset as the HDR thing.

Focus stacking is legal under advanced editing, it has been used and validated numerous times.
