The name itself is PERFECT for photography... Lets see all the images that are inspired by ELO song titles... Even the band name can inspire us as photographers.. Imagine what your ELO would be..

OK, so yes, I'm listening to them right now and just can't get enough... Their music creats visions in my mind and I would love to see how it effects other photog's too... Some songs that are my favorites;

1.Evil Women
2.Strange Magic
3.Xanadu
4.I'm Alive
5.Sweet Talkin' Women
6.Don't walk away
7.The Fall

You get where I'm going here.. Not sure when the last music group type challenge was since it's been a while since I was gone.. You can either go with the song title, or your favorite line from you favorite song...

edit to note: I realize I spelled the name wrong.. It was one of those things, as soon as I hit submit, I saw it.. ooops, too late.. :-)

I love ELO!

Jungle is great, but might be difficult to capture in an image.

Starlight would be fun - as long as we dont do this during the summer when we don't get dark enough to see stars.

The Whale is all musical, but I might be able to pull that one off if I go down by Prince William Sound on a weekend.

I have many fond memories of ELO! I also had a screen printed cap-sleeve T that said evil woman (in reference to the song) and my father disallowed me to wear it... or so he thought muahaha.

Xanadu is one of my all time favorite movies... I use to watch it all the time.. It was my go to movie I threw in while I was cleaning cause lets face it.. You really don't need to pay attention to what's going on, but the music was fantastic...

Favorite scene is the very begingin when the song, I'm Alive starts and the mural comes to life...

Laffin! When I saw that scene in the theater I was transfixed from that moment on. And the music was incredible. I had to special order the dvd from Japan cause it wasn't produced in the US. Even the Tubes' song is great.

OMG....I love ELO! I've still got a few vinylssome of their music! (Cough! Cough!)
TONS of great ideas from their songs. Wonder how many telephone poles you'd get, lol! (Telephone Line)
Or radios for that matter! :P

I think this is a GREAT suggestion!

Great! now I cant get "I can't get it out of my head" out of my head!

Midnight, on the water
I saw the ocean's daughter
Walking on a wave's chicane
Staring as she called my name.

And I can't get it out of my head
No, I can't get it out of my head
Now my old world is gone for dead
'Cos I can't get it out of my head.

Breakdown, on the shoreline
Can't move, it's an ebb tide
Morning don't get here tonight
Searching for her silver light.

When you listed the songs, you forgot one great song that could make a few outdoor photographers feel better about a scourge in their lives.

Oh oh..... Telephone Line....
