I know a lot of folks do the "photo a day" thing, so you might find this of interest. It starts out as just snapshots and becomes a documentary of his life.
He Took a Polaroid Every Day, Until the Day He Died

Here is the website with the entire collection

Interesting article, thanks. I'll have to check out the full collection later.

I remember years ago seeing a spread in Look (or Life?) magazine of a man who took a beach/swimsuit self-portrait of himself and his daughter every year, from when she was a little girl to when he was an old man. A different scenario, but I'm reminded of it.

Those are my exact thoughts. The last handful are really sad.

That is really cool. I read the synopsis blog post. I started to look through the original site, but is pretty slow going...

Very cool.

I started a vaguely similar project, many years ago, when I used SX-70 a lot for "art" photos. I carried around a chart of the exact time of sunset for every day of the year, and at exactly that time I'd take a polaroid, facing West, wherever I was. I called it "Everyday Sunsets". It petered out after a year and a half. I don't know what's become of the images. I still have the camera, though :-) Here it is:

That's a wonderful series. Thanks for hooking us up.

Something similar - but not..

Very good though, I sometimes wish I was in a position to just up sticks and go off and wander.

Check it out.

PS. I think this may of been posted here before.
