Magaly, I think you chose the right one, but it's nice to see the others, too. |

I don't want to start another "why did this fail?" thread, but I was disappointed in my score and would appreciate some more feedback.
I chose the final crop because I thought it emphasized the player's muscle tension at the swing (and the sharpness of the photo). I went with the pale processing because it seemed the most accurate catch of the bright, hot, humid day, but someone whose opinion I respect pointed out it was flat. Are these things where I went wrong with most voters, or am I missing the point and it's just a blah photo?
- my entry
- would more contrast have made a difference?
- more context?
- lots more context?
FYI, I had some non-baseball potentials, too:

Hey all and thanks for all of the comments during the challenge. I took this image along with several others while the incident took place. I felt really lucky to not be in the restroom or getting a beer while this was happening. Each of the images (well most of them) have a little description of what's taking place. I think I could have sold my entry to the local paper but I wanted to keep it under wraps while the competition was taking place.
I actually did get some good baseball images from the game :D
